Fall 2023 Block pARTy & Tarot Workshop: Integrating Mysticism with Community Connection

Challenge:

Elevate ReClaim It's quarterly events by adding a unique spin, integrating Tarot and astrology to foster communal learning and connection, all while supporting inclusivity.

ReClaim It's quarterly events are more than just celebrations—they're vibrant platforms for communal learning and connection.

For our 3rd annual Block pARTy, together with jonath ochs (event graphics and content calendar collaboration), I've integrated the mystical allure of Tarot and astrology—crafting a unique narrative for our community.

Our inaugural DIY Tarot Deck Creation workshop, launching at the Block pARTy, takes this a step further. Designed with inclusivity at its core, with this workshop we introduced an Access Scholarship Program for low-income participants, ensuring access to enriching experiences.

Results:

  • Open Rate: 67.1%

  • Industry Average (at time of sending): 22.8%

  • Note: Highest open rate ever achieved for emails to our general audience.

Garden Duet V: A Summertime Artistic Exploration

Challenge:

Present an enchanting opportunity for attendees to explore private gardens filled with art—while promoting the sustainability aspect of the showcased art.

This summer event provides a special opportunity... to tour two private gardens filled to the brim with awesome outdoor and garden art made from at least 80% reused materials. The Garden Duet finds its home in a different Portland neighborhood each summer, so it’s an excellent way to explore a new corner of the city.

2022 Holiday Show: Sustainable Gift-Giving in the Heart of Portland
